David Poag is a professional with over 30 years of experience in Construction Management & Inspection (CMI), field operations, safety, facilities management, and project delivery. Holding an Associate of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology, he brings extensive expertise to public and private sector projects. His professional background spans federal installations, state and local government initiatives, commercial facilities, residential communities, and large mixed-use developments, overseeing vertical and horizontal construction, infrastructure improvements, facility renovations, and site development.

 

In his current role as a Quality Control Manager with Anthony Management Group at Elk Neck State Park, David provides oversight of quality control procedures, field compliance, contractor coordination, and documentation review. He ensures strict adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations, including erosion and sediment control requirements and maintenance of traffic. With a comprehensive background that includes senior leadership roles as a Superintendent, Project Manager, Facilities Manager, and Director of Operations, he has managed field teams, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets. His technical proficiencies include Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office, supported by active industry certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, State of Maryland Erosion and Sediment Control, EPA Storm Water Controls, HAZWOPER 24, and First Aid/CPR/AED.
