VDOT C64 Bridge

Cleaning and recoating structural steel across multiple bridge structures in Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach represented the core of the VDOT C64 Bridge Painting Project for the Virginia Department of Transportation. Successfully completing this work across varied locations necessitated a disciplined approach to progress monitoring and schedule management.

Performance tracking was facilitated through a cost- and resource-loaded CPM schedule in Primavera P6, featuring 88 activities, 133 relationships, and 32 critical path tasks. Monthly updates, combined with rigorous critical path analysis and dedicated schedule recovery efforts, ensured that project progress remained consistent despite potential site-specific delays.
