Hatem Bridge

Rehabilitation of the 1.4-mile Hatem Bridge spanning the Susquehanna River for the Maryland Transportation Authority involved intensive cleaning, painting, and structural repairs. Coordinating these multifaceted preservation efforts required high-level oversight to address the unique logistical challenges of bridge rehabilitation at scale.

Sophisticated scheduling techniques were applied using a cost- and resource-loaded CPM schedule in Primavera P6, which utilized 841 activities, 1,002 relationships, and over 300 critical path items. The use of multiple calendars allowed for precise management of phased construction, site access constraints, and ongoing traffic operations throughout the project duration.
