Supporting Airport Infrastructure Upgrades Through Advanced Scheduling
Modifications to exterior stairs and infrastructure at airport concourses A and B in Baltimore involved new egress stairs, structural and architectural upgrades, and enhancements to building and security systems. Working within the highly regulated and active environment of an airport required meticulous planning to ensure security constraints were respected at all times.
Advanced scheduling was utilized through a CPM schedule in Primavera P6, incorporating 1,538 activities and 2,984 relationships. By modeling such a high volume of work, the team successfully coordinated complex, phased construction while strictly adhering to the security-related constraints inherent to airport operations.
